Intel Team, start the fans, please!

As a major partner of Dixons Carphone, Intel® participated in the 2018 Dixons Carphone Computing Roadshow; a series of 14 dates up and down the UK and Ireland to train Dixons Carphone’s retail sales staff on all things Intel®.

In collaborating with Retail Marketing Group and the Intel training team, we brought four key training modules to life through gamification; a series of four zones, inspired by legendary game show ‘The Crystal Maze’.

We concepted, designed and produced an experience which enabled the Intel Field Training Team to cover the training modules in a fun, interactive and memorable way. Weaving through crystal release challenges, delegates were taken on a journey of Intel’s latest offering.

Donning their very own crystal maze style gillet, delegates started in a museum style zone to illustrate the amazing journey Intel® has taken over the last 50 years. Next, they immersed themselves in the 8th Generation Intel® i3’ Core™ zone, followed by the Intel® Optane™ memory lock box challenge, and finally ending in zone 4, a gaming-arcade themed area; dedicated to gaming-specific processors and their place in the market.

After the four zones were completed, delegates dropped their crystals off in exchange for entry in to a daily competition. After the experience, delegates were even better equipped to go back to their stores to sell the latest 8th Generation Intel® Core™ offering and disseminating the key messages to their colleagues.

Ann Squared concepted, built and produced the stand. We toured it around the 14 locations, rigging and de-rigging the stand in a variety of differently sized venues.
